LIUNA Local 1035 represents members who work in the construction industry in McHenry and Boone counties in Illinois. Local 1035 was originally chartered on July 12, 1938. After absorbing Local 1360 (Boone County) on June 20, 1940, Local 1035 was granted a new charter, dated August 7, 1941.
Local 1035 is an affiliate of LIUNA - the Laborers' International Union of North America - the most progressive, aggressive, and fastest-growing union of construction workers, and one of the most diverse and effective unions representing public service employees. LIUNA members are united through collective bargaining agreements which help us earn family-supporting pay, good benefits, and the opportunity for advancement and better lives.
